My career as a photojournalist took off under the neon lights of Las Vegas where I captured devastation to jubilation and presidents to pro athletes, along with many other things that happened in Vegas, but didn't stay in Vegas after the photos were published.
The journey began at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where I was Chief Photographer at the award-winning, student newspaper, The Rebel Yell. I then introduced my work to a worldwide audience through clients such as The Associated Press, European Pressphoto Agency, and Agencia EFE (the Spanish news wire), as well as Nevada's largest newspaper, the Las Vegas Review-Journal. My work has appeared in major media outlets, including CNN, NPR, USA Today, The Guardian (UK), The Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, Outside Magazine, and many more.
I love blending work with play, using my documentary roots to tell authentic stories and create compelling content for wire services, various brands, local businesses, marketing agencies, and tourism offices.
